US Ambassador - Mr. Howard A Van Vrenken at KGK Botswana
It was an honour to host the US Ambassador, Mr. Howard A. Van Vrenken, at the KGK Botswana factory on August 3, 2023. During his visit, Mr. Van Vrenken expressed his appreciation for the diamond cutting and jewellery manufacturing operations, as well as the eco-friendly initiatives at KGK Botswana.
In addition to touring the factory, the esteemed ambassador also took the time to visit KGK KIDS, a creche and daycare for KGK's employees located on the factory premises. Mr. Van Vrenken was accompanied by his delegation, which included Mr. Brian E. Smyser (Economic & Commercial Officer), Ms. Melisa Cotton (Public Affairs Officer), Rashida Thomas (Public Diplomacy Fellow), Goitseone Montsho (Economic and Commercial Specialist), and Grace L. Tovkach (Economic Fellow).
